Ingredients:
  • 1 lb pork breakfast sausage
  • 3 Tbsp flour
  • 2-3 cups milk
  • 30 oz bag frozen tater tots
  • salt and pepper
Instructions:
  1. Preheat oven to temperature on back of tater tot bag
  2. In a skillet, cook pork sausage until cooked through
  3. Turn down heat and sprinkle in flour and cook for 1 minute
  4. Slowly pour in milk while whisking until sauce is smooth and bring to a simmer
  5. Add salt and pepper.
  6. Once simmering, turn down heat until milk has thickened, about 3-4 minutes. It should be soupy, but the milk will continue to thicken while baking.
  7. Add sausage gravy to 9x13, add tater tots on top
  8. Bake as time indicates on tater tot bag or until the tots are golden brown
