Ingredients:
- 1 lb pork breakfast sausage
- 3 Tbsp flour
- 2-3 cups milk
- 30 oz bag frozen tater tots
- salt and pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to temperature on back of tater tot bag
- In a skillet, cook pork sausage until cooked through
- Turn down heat and sprinkle in flour and cook for 1 minute
- Slowly pour in milk while whisking until sauce is smooth and bring to a simmer
- Add salt and pepper.
- Once simmering, turn down heat until milk has thickened, about 3-4 minutes. It should be soupy, but the milk will continue to thicken while baking.
- Add sausage gravy to 9x13, add tater tots on top
- Bake as time indicates on tater tot bag or until the tots are golden brown
