Ingredients:
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup corn starch
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Dash of salt
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 3 cup frozen mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries)
- Pastry for double crust pie
Instructions:
- In a large pan, mix sugar, starch, cinnamon, and salt
- Stir in water & lemon juice
- Add berries & cook until mixture comes to a boil; stir frequently
- Line your pie pan with bottom crust & trim edges
- Add the filling & dot with butter
- Use the remaining pastry to make a lattice crust
- Bake at 350 for 40-50 mins or until golden brown
