Ingredients:
Cookies
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 8oz sour cream
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 4 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
Frosting
  • 1 cup butter
  • 4 cup powder
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp milk
  • Dash of vanilla
Instructions:
  1. Mix butter, sugar, eggs, & sour cream together until we’ll blended
  2. mix in vanilla, baking soda, baking powder, & salt
  3. Add in 2 1/2 cups of flour in
  4. Add rest of flour in by hand until stiff dough is reached (you may not need to add in all the flour)
  5. Freeze for 1 hour
  6. Roll out thick (about 1/4") between 2 pieces of parchment paper
  7. Dip cookie cutter in powder sugar to keep from sticking
  8. Keep dough in freezer when not in use
  9. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes (don’t overbake)
  10. Whip frosting ingredients together (only make half of frosting mix for single batch)
