Ingredients:
Cake Batter:
- 2 cups flour
- 4tsp baking powder
- 12 Tbsp butter
- 2/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/3 cup white sugar
- 6 Tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 Tbsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2/3 cup milk
- 2 egg yolks
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 2/3 cup cocoa powder
- 3 cups hot water
Instructions:
- Whisk together flour and baking powder. Set aside.
- Melt butter & chocolate chips together in a medium sauce pan (or in microwave).
- Add sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla, salt, milk, and egg yolks to butter and chocolate mixture. Stir well. Beat in flour mixture.
- Whisk together final 4 ingredients (for Mud) until sugar is dissolved. Pour over batter.

- Serve warm with ice cream.
