Ingredients:
  • 1 large can of refrigerated flaky biscuits
  • 1 lb ground breakfast sausage
  • 3 Tbsp flour
  • 2 1/2 cups whole milk
  • Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions:
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
  2. Spray 7x11 baking dish with cooking spray
  3. Cut biscuits into quarters & layer half the biscuit pieces into the bottom of the dish
  4. Bake for 8-10 mins until the biscuits are lightly browned
  5. While the biscuits are baking, brown the sausage in a skillet until fully cooked. Mix in the flour & allow to cook for about 3-4 more mins.
  6. Add the milk & salt/pepper. Stir all the ingredients in the skillet & bring to a low boil until slightly thickened
  7. Pour the gravy mixture over the baked biscuits & top with the remaining biscuit pieces
  8. Bake for 10 mins, then cover with foil & bake for another 10 mins until the top biscuits are golden brown
