Ingredients:
- 1/2 gallon of vanilla ice cream
- 1/2 cup white corn syrup
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 3 cups Rice Krispies
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 Tbsp cocoa powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1 cup hot water
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
Instructions:
- Melt together over low to medium.
- Measure 3 cups Rice Krispies into a bowl, pour melted ingredients over Rice Krispies and mix well.
- Pat into a buttered 9 inch pie pan (sides and bottom).
- Chill a bit, spread softened vanilla ice cream into crust (about 1/2 gallon or a bit less). Refreeze. Remove from freezer 10-15 minutes before serving. Top with whatever you would like or chocolate sauce.
- Combine sugar, coco, cornstarch and salt, mix well.
- Add hot water and vanilla. Stir, bring to a boil and cook till thickened. (This doesn’t take but a few minutes.)
